Asexy story time!

So while walking around the French Quarter with friends on my trip, I was dragged into the Hustler store—a sex shop. Until recently, I would have been extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed about this, red-faced and staring at my shoes the whole time, but being out as asexual to the people I was with made it so much more survivable.

It is freeing, in a way, to know that I don’t have to have any sort of response to sexual things, even such very overtly sexual things as I saw there. I don’t have to be sex-positive or sex-negative. I am sex-neutral.
